Duc Linh is a mountainous district, located in the west of Binh Thuan province, 120km from Phan Thiet city center. Currently, Duc Linh district trade union has 115 grassroots trade unions with a total of 5,725 union members/6,054 workers.
Although it is a mountainous district, Duc Linh district has so far formed 7 industrial clusters with a total area of nearly 300 hectares, of which 3 industrial clusters are managed by the State.
Mr. Huynh Thien Linh - Chairman of the Labor Federation of Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province said that the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions was vigorously implemented by the unit last year.
The result was 1,309 new union members, reaching 218.16% of the assigned target (600 union members). Of these, the informal sector developed 50 union members. Along with the development of union members, 3 grassroots unions and grassroots unions outside the state sector were established, exceeding the assigned target.
The implementation of legal policies and labor relations is also promoted, actively participating with employers in promulgating democratic regulations at the unit. Coordinating the organization of conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees and organizing labor conferences. Thereby creating trust for employees to work with peace of mind and improving the quality of the working environment, salary, bonus and shift meal regimes.
Many activities to care for the spiritual life, cultural and sports movements for workers and laborers are also organized by the Duc Linh District Labor Federation.
With many efforts in trade union activities, Duc Linh District Labor Federation has been classified by Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation as a grassroots trade union that has excellently completed its tasks in 2024 and is the leading unit in the whole province.
