On March 7, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had organized a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Bac Binh Commune Trade Union. At the same time, it announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Bac Binh Commune Trade Union consisting of 7 people.
Mr. Ba Hoang Anh Tuan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee, Civil Servant of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agency of Bac Binh commune - was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Bac Binh Commune Trade Union.
According to the decision, Bac Binh Commune Trade Union directly manages 26 grassroots trade unions and trade unions with a total of 1,332 union members. This is a cluster trade union model, in charge of trade union activities in 7 neighboring communes.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - congratulated the Executive Committee of Bac Binh Commune Trade Union and awarded relevant decisions.
Mr. Duong emphasized that the establishment of Bac Binh Commune Trade Union is an important milestone, marking a new step in the development of the trade union organization in the grassroots political system.
At the same time, he requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, develop working regulations and assign specific tasks to each member.
According to the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, with the characteristics of a cluster trade union, a large area and a large number of grassroots trade unions, Bac Binh Commune Trade Union needs to strengthen coordination with grassroots trade unions to care for the lives and protect the rights of union members and workers.
At the same time, organize patriotic emulation movements, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
With the establishment of the Bac Binh Commune Trade Union, to date, Lam Dong province has 27 commune, ward, and special zone trade unions.
