In the first 6 months of 2026, 100% of trade unions of units directly under the Vietnam Education Union will deploy women's work.

On July 30, the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD) said that in the first 6 months of the year, CĐGD focused on women's work, gender equality and for the advancement of women.

Accordingly, the Trade Union of Education directs trade unions of units to well perform the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female union members, officials, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLĐ). Trade unions at all levels organize many activities to care for and support female CBNGNLĐ, establish and consolidate the Mass Women's Committee; organize activities to care for children of CBNGNLĐ, and commend typical CBNGNLĐ families.

The Education Union coordinates with the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) to organize seminars and surveys on mobilizing female workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" among female CNVCLĐ for delegates who are presidents/vice presidents and heads of women's union committees of some units under the Education Union.

The TU directed units to organize conferences to summarize 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b/NQ-BCH on mobilizing female workers and employees in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country and Directive No. 03/CT-TLĐ on continuing to promote the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" among female officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers (period 2010-2025). The TU awarded Emulation Flags to 3 collectives, awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and 43 individuals with outstanding achievements in directing, organizing and implementing the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" in the period 2021-2025...

Implementing the direction of the Education Union, 100% of trade unions in units have deployed women's work in 2026; organized conferences or reports summarizing 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b; propagated to officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers about the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day, the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and International Day of Happiness (March 20); International Children's Day (June 1) and Vietnamese Family Day (June 28).

Units organize many practical and appropriate activities, with gender-specific colors, mobilizing the participation of many trade union members such as: Reproductive health; reducing gender balance at birth; preventing and combating domestic violence; protecting, caring for and educating children... Focusing on activities to care for and support improving material and spiritual life, health care, screening, and mental health counseling for female CBNGNLĐ....

Trade unions of units have established Mass Women's Committees after trade union congresses at all levels. Currently, 128/141 trade unions (Hanoi National University, regional universities, grassroots trade unions) have established Mass Women's Committees, with a total of 780 female trade union officials (8 units have fewer than 10 female union members, so they do not meet the conditions to establish Mass Women's Committees).
