On October 30, the Trade Union of ESTec Vietnam Co., Ltd. Vinh Long Branch held its 2nd Congress, term 2025-2030. Attending and giving a speech at the Congress was Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation.
During the 2023-2025 term, the Trade Union of ESTec Vietnam Co., Ltd. Vinh Long branch has actively cared for the rights of workers.
Outstanding activities include signing a Collective Labor Agreement with many beneficial provisions, organizing a "Tet Sum Vay", having regular health check-ups, visiting sick people, saying goodbye, giving quarterly birthdays, visiting workers' children during the International Children's Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival. 100% of female employees participate in the movement "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs".
At the Congress, the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term set a goal of building a strong grassroots trade union, ensuring that 100% of employees and workers enjoy full policies, implement well the grassroots democracy regime, 100% of union officials receive professional training, actively propagate the Labor Law and the revised Trade Union Charter.
At the same time, the Congress aims to mobilize 100% of union members to contribute to charity funds, contributing to caring for the lives of workers and the community.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor praised Estec VN Trade Union as a typical unit with many outstanding achievements, which has well protected the rights of union members, and acknowledged the support of the Company's Board of Directors.
She suggested that the new Executive Committee improve the effectiveness of representation by negotiating the Collective Labor Agreement more and more effectively. It is necessary to promote the application of information technology, digital transformation and promote creativity in the "Good workers, Creative workers" movement.
The new Executive Committee must unite, strive to simultaneously carry out business tasks and trade unions, and strive to achieve "Excellent completion of tasks" every year.
"We must make each union member feel that "coming to the Union is coming with absolute sharing and protection", she emphasized this content.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Second tenure, consisting of 11 comrades, elected the Inspection Committee and the delegation to attend the Congress of the Upper Trade Union. 100% of delegates voted to approve the Congress Resolution.
The Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term held its first meeting, electing the Standing Committee, the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Inspection Committee, in which Ngo Thanh Dat - Chairman of the Trade Union of ESTec Vietnam Company Limited, Vinh Long branch.
