On October 8, the Trade Union of Con Phung Tourism and Trade Services Company Limited held its 6th Congress, term 2025-2030. This is the unit chosen by the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) as a point-to-point congress to draw experience for the grassroots trade union level (CDCS),
The Congress was attended by 40 official delegates, representing 54 cadres, union members, and workers of the company.
The summary report for the 2023-2028 term at the Congress showed that the Con Phung Trade Union has completed its tasks excellently, and has been recognized as "Excellent Strong" for many consecutive years.
100% of workers participate in trade unions, and are fully guaranteed social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and 24/24.
The union coordinated with the Board of Directors to take care of the material and spiritual lives of union members, effectively maintain activities such as "Tet Sum Vay", periodic health check-ups, wedding visits... with a total budget of more than 35 million VND.
In the context of the tourism industry facing many difficulties, the Trade Union is still actively launching a creative labor emulation movement, contributing to helping Con Phung Tourism be honored in the Top 50 attractive destinations in Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta and achieve the title of Typical Tourist Reception Site in 2024.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Congress identified the key direction as the development of "Green, Sustainable Tourism", promoting the application of digital transformation in trade union and business activities.
Specific targets include: striving to achieve the title of "Excellent completion of tasks" every year; introducing at least 3 outstanding union members to the Party for admission; 100% of union officials are trained and fostered in their professional skills; continuing to launch the emulation movement "New Startup Congress".
Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - praised the Con Phung Labor Union for its solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties, taking good care of workers' lives and contributing to the sustainable development of enterprises.
He highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of union members during the difficult period, contributing to building a green and friendly tourism brand, making Con Phung an outstanding destination in the region.
"I propose that the new Executive Board promote the spirit of creativity, apply digital transformation, strengthen coordination with businesses to build a harmonious working environment and develop sustainable tourism," Mr. Linh emphasized.
At the Congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the new grassroots Trade Union term consisting of 5 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc continues to be trusted to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Con Phung Company Limited (DLDVTM) for the 2025 - 2030 term.
