On September 4, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor organized the implementation of professional contents, drawing lots, dividing groups, and approving the regulations of the first Bac Ninh Provincial Women's and Female Workers' Football Tournament in 2025.
The tournament has teams from grassroots trade unions with athletes who are union members and workers working at enterprises in industrial parks and clusters in Bac Ninh province, have signed labor contracts and are on the list of participating in social insurance and health insurance of enterprises (including foreign workers working at enterprises).
Athletes must be 18 years old or older (born from 2007 onwards). The organizing committee divided the qualifying round into 5 competition areas with 83 men's teams and 29 women's teams registered.
The teams competed in a group stage, with a round-robin format. At the end of the group stage, there will be 32 men's teams and 8 women's teams participating in the Final round. The Organizing Committee will randomly draw matches in a knockout format to select the champion team.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award 2 sets of collective prizes to the men's and women's teams.
In addition, the Organizing Committee will award individual awards: Best Goalkeeper; Best Player; Miss, Runner-up (for women's football).
It is expected that the first Bac Ninh Province Workers' and Women's Football Tournament in 2025 will take place with the Regional Qualifiers on Sundays every week; expected to start from September 14, 2025. The competition location is at 5 football fields with 5 competition clusters.
The Final Round is scheduled to take place on Sundays from the end of October 2025. Competition location: Tu Son University of Physical Education and Sports Stadium.
