A group of workers who used to work at Construction Company 189 (Nha Trang City) sent a letter to Lao Dong Newspaper informing them that they had received their full salary after nearly 2 years of demanding their rights.
In a letter sent to the newspaper yesterday (September 27), all 14 officers and engineers who used to work at Construction Company 189 confirmed that everyone had been paid their full salaries by the company.
"We would like to express our most sincere thanks to Lao Dong Newspaper, as well as other reporters/editors who have collected information, documents, interviewed and enthusiastically supported us - the disadvantaged workers in society - to demand our legitimate rights" - excerpt from the collective letter of workers at Construction Company 189.
Before the workers received the above salary, Lao Dong Newspaper had a series of articles about the disadvantages of workers and engineers when their employers owed them 700 million VND in salary.
Not only are their jobs scattered, most workers have also encountered countless difficulties and have not been able to find a common voice with their employers in demanding their wages for the past two years.

As reported by Lao Dong, a group of workers who used to work at Construction Company 189, directed by Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan (No. 16 Phuoc Long Street, Nha Trang City), reported that this company had owed them wages for the past 2 years.
Company 189 is the contractor for the construction of the Phuoc Long Apartment and Service Complex project - Apartment block (Grand Mark Nha Trang, No. 16, Phuoc Long Street). Currently, the Nha Trang City People's Court has decided to open bankruptcy proceedings against Dong Duong Nha Trang Construction Investment Joint Stock Company - the investor of Grand Mark Nha Trang.
