Double joy for workers' families
From early morning, workers and their families were present at the departure points of the buses in joyful excitement. Because they were able to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet by the Trade Union's bus with care, sharing and peace of mind.
The family of Mr. Nguyen Khac Trong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, both workers at Nissei Electric Hanoi Co., Ltd., are among thousands of union members and workers who returned to their hometowns in the Trade Union's car.
In the late afternoon of February 13, reporters were present at the family of Mr. Nguyen Khac Trong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh. Witnessing the scene of them busily preparing belongings and cakes to return to their maternal hometown in Nghe An to celebrate Tet, they fully understood the meaning of the tickets on the free buses taking workers home for Tet of the Trade Union organization.

Mr. Trong said that it has been a long time since his small family of 5 returned to his wife's hometown, so everyone is excited, especially the children. This year, because the whole family traveled by Trade Union bus to return to their hometown for Tet, they saved a significant amount of money. With that amount of money, they agreed to buy more confectionery, fruits, and decorations at the market at the beginning of the village where the family rented a room.
The extremely special thing is that the joy of this worker's family doubled when Mr. Trong drew lots to win a red electric motorbike from the program to show gratitude to officials and employees who have been attached to the company for many years. With the new motorbike, Mr. Trong plans to move the motorbike he is riding back to send it to his grandparents. "Parents are old, the family only works in agriculture, in the past when I went to work, I had to borrow it temporarily to go. Now that I have a new motorbike, I send it back to my family," Mr. Trong shared.
Talking to us, Ms. Vuong Thi Thuy - Vice Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Nissei Electric Hanoi Co., Ltd. - said that the company has more than 1,600 union members. Tet 2026, the Trade Union awarded 36 0-dong bus tickets to support workers in difficult circumstances who are from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh to return home for Tet... It is expected that on the first day of work after Tet, company employees will receive lucky money at the beginning of the year to get good luck.

2.45 billion VND to take workers home for Tet
This year, the program arranged 26 bus trips, taking 1,200 workers belonging to the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Hanoi Industrial Parks to return to their hometowns for Tet in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa provinces and some northern provinces; at the same time, supporting 5,500 cash bus tickets for workers with a total budget of 2.45 billion VND.

This is the 18th consecutive year that city-level Trade Unions have maintained this meaningful and humane activity, not only bringing meaningful car trips to workers but also creating a widespread spread, mobilizing businesses, organizations, and individuals to join hands in caring for union members and workers.
In addition, the Trade Unions of wards, communes and grassroots trade unions have coordinated with businesses to organize the return of over 40,000 workers to their hometowns for Tet and welcome workers back to work after Tet, contributing to stabilizing the labor force and maintaining production and business.
Speaking at the send-off ceremony for workers returning to their hometowns for Tet, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation - expressed his wish that with the support of the Trade Union, workers returning to their hometowns for Tet would be happy, safe and return to work on time.
It is known that with the consistent motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet", on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Capital Trade Union levels have spent over 246 billion VND from the Trade Union budget and socialized sources to support more than 368 thousand union members and workers in difficult circumstances. These figures clearly show the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Through the program "Free cars to take workers in difficult circumstances home for Tet", the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation hopes that levels, sectors, especially employers and the business community, will continue to pay attention and accompany the Trade Union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers. Thereby, strengthening the bond between workers and businesses, improving the quality of human resources, competitiveness, labor productivity, contributing to building an increasingly strong Capital worker contingent, meeting the requirements of national development in the new era.
