On January 6, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (CDXDVN) said that in the past 3 years, trade union levels have paid attention to and deployed propaganda to 405,387 turns of trade union members about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws; propaganda about anniversaries and major events of the Party, the country, and trade union organizations.
Trade union levels continue to coordinate with professional departments at the same level to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, and at the same time promote the struggle to refute wrong and hostile views in the new situation, contributing to improving the political bravery of union members and workers.
Responding to the annual Workers' Month, CDXDVN regularly directs units to focus on effectively implementing activities during Workers' Month such as participating in the "Creative Labor Day 2025" program organized by the VGCL; organizing the "May Dialogue" program, the "Gratitude to Workers" activity, the "Trade Union Meal" program (145 agencies, units, and enterprises organized the "Trade Union Meal" program attracting the participation of 41,503 union members and workers with a total expenditure for this activity of over 3 billion VND); giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances (CDXDVN organized working groups to visit and give gifts to 20 collectives, 3,398 union members and workers in the construction industry in difficult circumstances with an amount of 3.895 billion VND; trade union levels focused on reviewing, promptly visiting and supporting 9,820 union members with an amount of 6.74 billion VND)...
Implementing Decision No. 1268/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers at enterprises by 2030", affiliated trade unions have organized classes to improve qualifications, knowledge, and professional skills for 262,782 workers. Therefore, the quality of the workforce in the industry is constantly being improved, contributing to building a modern and strong workforce in the construction industry, meeting the development requirements of the industry in the new situation.
Improving the spiritual and cultural life has always been of concern to CDXDVN and trade union levels, in the past 3 years, 169,644 turns of workers participated in cultural and sports activities at cultural and sports clusters organized by CDXDVN and affiliated trade union levels in coordination with professional departments.
Communication work on Trade Union organization constantly innovates methods and content, promotes digital transformation, and applies technology to diversify communication products to reach more union members and workers.
