Support 1,010 Trade Union Shelters during Workers' Month
The activity of supporting and building a Trade Union Shelter (MACD) for union members and workers (DV, NLD) of the Vietnam Trade Union is a practical caring activity with profound humanitarian significance. The donation of MACD housing has become a regular activity, familiar to members and employees, bearing the strong mark of the Trade Union organization.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in Workers' Month 2025 alone (May 2025), Vietnam Trade Unions at all levels supported union members and employees with 1,010 MCD with a total amount of more than 24 billion VND. Sharing the difficulties of Ms. Huong and her children, the Trade Union of Tohoku Pioneer Company Limited has proposed that the Trade Union of Hai Phong Economic Zone support the construction of a new Trade Union Shelter for Ms. Huong. At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2025, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union presented 50 million VND to support the MICD.
"Receiving gifts from the Trade Union organization on the occasion of Workers' Month is extremely meaningful to me. I hope that many workers in difficult circumstances will be supported by the City Labor Union" - Ms. Huong said emotionally.
