On the morning of September 30, the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor held a ceremony to send off the Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team to participate in the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
From the 1st Binh Thuan Provincial Trade Union Football Tournament in 2024, Binh Thuan Trade Union selected 16 union members from trade unions of various sectors and localities, with talent and expertise in football to form a football team to participate in the tournament. The head coach of the team is Mr. Tran Thong Khai.
At the departure ceremony, Mr. Do Huu Quy - Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor praised the 22 members of the team, including 16 athletes and 6 officers and staff in charge of their efforts in training and responsibility for the assigned tasks. At the same time, he hoped that the whole team would be calm, confident, and strive to compete for the best results.
In recent days, the team and coaching staff have had training sessions on the field as well as arranged rest time to restore the players' physical strength.

Responding to reporters about the goal of the Binh Thuan Trade Union football team in this tournament, Mr. Do Huu Quy - Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor said that the process of selecting the football team had professional support from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, as well as material and spiritual support from units to create the best conditions for the team to practice before the competition. 16 players representing 80,000 members of the Binh Thuan Trade Union, bringing their skills and enthusiasm to the competition, must try their best to achieve the best results.

Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team belongs to Region 3, with the participation of 12 teams, competing in Binh Duong province from October 4 to 6, 2024. According to the draw results, Binh Thuan Trade Union team belongs to group A with Long An 1 Trade Union and Rubber Trade Union.
