According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Center received 16,689 applications for unemployment insurance benefits; there were 16,026 workers with decisions to receive unemployment benefits.
In which, people with decisions to enjoy benefits are mainly workers aged 25–40, accounting for 62.27% of the total number of people with decisions. This shows that the group of young workers is still a group of subjects with unsustainable jobs.
The number of people consulted and introduced to jobs in the fourth quarter of 2025 is 17,900 turns. The Center has issued decisions to support vocational training for 200 workers with an amount of 769.2 million VND.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center actively implemented labor supply-demand connection activities. The Center organized 70 job transaction sessions, attracting the participation of 2,182 businesses and training institutions with a total recruitment and enrollment demand of 33,606 targets.
Through these activities, 54,635 workers were consulted on employment, vocational training and labor policies; 13,583 workers participated in direct interviews with employers, resulting in 4,739 workers receiving applications and being recruited right at the sessions.
In general, in 2025, through the Hanoi Employment Service Center, 222,000 workers were employed. Of which, 53,800 workers received loans to create their own jobs and stabilize their lives through policy credit channels; over 148,200 workers found new jobs through job exchanges and professional service businesses.
There are over 3,900 export workers coming to potential markets, not only solving immediate jobs but also contributing to improving skills for the capital's human resources in the long term.
