On September 3, the Trade Union of VINA-BINGO Co., Ltd. (Japan Industrial Park - Hai Phong) launched the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026-2030.
VINA-BINGO Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, specializing in manufacturing and processing precision mechanics, mainly serving exports. The company currently has 123 employees, with an average income of over 15 million VND/person/month.
Over the past time, the Trade Union of VINA-BINGO Co., Ltd. has implemented activities to care for workers associated with 4 standards and 8 criteria of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model. The Trade Union has coordinated with businesses to sign collective labor agreements with 44 clauses, notably the 115-day/year leave regime; meal allowance of 36,000 VND/person... 100% of workers are fully insured according to regulations, and have periodic health checks. The contents of the agreement have contributed to improving welfare, stabilizing life and increasing the attachment of workers to the business.
In the period 2026-2030, the Trade Union will focus on overcoming the criteria that are still lacking points and not achieved of the socialist grassroots Trade Union model. In which, continue to review and improve the quality of collective labor agreements, strive to achieve type A, and supplement clauses that are more beneficial to workers. Annually, the trade union organizes or coordinates to organize at least 2 cultural and artistic activities; 1 sightseeing and tourism activity, occupational safety and health classes and supplement soft skills suitable to the needs of union members and workers.
On the same day, the Trade Union of Shinec Joint Stock Company (Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park) also held a conference to launch the model. Speaking to direct at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the City Labor Federation - highly appreciated the results in caring for the lives of union members and employees that the Trade Union of Shinec Joint Stock Company has achieved. At the same time, he proposed that the construction of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model at Shinec must both fully ensure 4 standards, 8 criteria, and focus on solving the direct requirements of the Company's development strategy in the coming period.
Grassroots trade unions continue to improve the quality of representation, care and protection of workers; improve the cultural, spiritual, level and skills of workers; promote the movement "Good workers, high productivity, good income" associated with the operational efficiency and ecological IP orientation of Shinec. Trade unions need to coordinate with businesses to have mechanisms to detect, record and promptly reward workers' initiatives so that the movement spreads strongly, creating an environment for workers to enthusiastically work and be creative.
