On January 28th, at My Phuoc Industrial Park (Ben Cat ward), grassroots trade unions, commune and ward trade unions participated in the program "Summary of activities in 2025, deploying directions and tasks for 2026" organized by the Local Management Task Force No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union.
At the program, delegates listened to a quick report on the results of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030. Report on the implementation of tasks according to each professional area. At the same time, discuss and remove difficulties, and propose solutions to improve the efficiency of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
According to the Task Force managing area No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union, in the period leading up to the 2026 Lunar New Year, trade union levels focus on caring for workers in difficult circumstances.

The working group reviewed and summarized union members' information to deploy "Trade Union Tet Market" vouchers with a total of 1,300 vouchers allocated. At the same time, summarized the needs for supporting vehicles to return home for Tet for union members and workers. Proceeded to allocate and award bus and train tickets to union members in the North of Ho Chi Minh City who have not returned home for Tet for many consecutive years.
Notably, the Task Force advised on allocating 28,000 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to give to workers in difficult circumstances during Tet. In addition, the Task Force coordinated to organize visits and timely support for union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and labor accidents with a total amount of 50 million VND.

At the program, Task Force No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Management Department awarded certificates of merit to 6 outstanding individuals, 5 collectives and 10 individuals with typical achievements in the period 2020-2025. Awarded certificates of merit for coordinating mobilization and supporting the receipt of goods to support the Central region affected by storms and floods in 2025 to 3 units. The Task Force also received 3 Trade Union Warm Houses for workers facing housing difficulties awarded by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam Binh Duong Branch.
