On June 28, the Trade Union of Can Tho Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital organized the Program " Free examination and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases" for patients with musculoskeletal diseases.

This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the desire to "Join action for community health", contributing to the health care of the poor, people in Can Tho city in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general.
At the same time, it creates conditions for patients to access modern medical services, raising awareness of health care for themselves and their families; as well as promoting the role, tasks and responsibilities of doctors in the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
The program took place in 3 sessions (from the morning of June 28 to the morning of June 29), with the number of registered patients being 300 people. The total estimated implementation cost is 150 million VND.
At the program, patients are examined clinically combined with paraclinical practice (if any); free consultation and treatment for services, including medical examination; X-ray or osteoporosis measurement; testing (Glucose, liver function, kidneys, uric acid); physical therapy - rehabilitation (electric therapy; therapeutic activities; traditional medicine... and drug administration.

Visiting the hospital, Ms. Nguyen Kim Phi (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) expressed that this is truly a meaningful program. In addition to receiving enthusiastic advice from doctors, I also received free treatment and medicine.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) shared: "Doctors and medical staff are all dedicated to guiding, consulting, examining and treating patients. In particular, through this program, I will pay more attention to my health from the advice of doctors".
