300 union members and workers working at Thanh Nien Xung Phong Public Service One Member Limited Liability Company were authorized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to give Tet gifts to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on February 2. Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 300,000 VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized: In the context of increasingly high task requirements, large workload, and heavy labor nature, the team of union members and employees of the company has promoted the spirit of responsibility, discipline, dedication and bravery of the Youth Volunteer force, making an important contribution to the stability and sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City.
With its role, the Vietnam Trade Union organization always persistently accompanies, affirming its role as a reliable fulcrum, caring for the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, especially when every Tet and Spring comes.
The gifts presented today, although not large in material terms, show the affection, responsibility and companionship of the Trade Union organization; thereby contributing to encouraging and motivating workers to feel secure in their work and continue to strive to complete the assigned tasks well," Mr. Hoa said.
Mr. Hoa also requested the grassroots Trade Union of Thanh Nien Xung Phong Public Service One Member Limited Liability Company to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on building a strong working class and trade union organization; innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focus on the grassroots level, and take union members and workers as the center of all activities.
At the same time, proactively grasp the ideological situation, jobs, income and lives of workers, especially direct labor force, workers working in heavy, hazardous, and wide-area conditions; promptly advise and propose to Party committees, authorities, and employers practical and effective care solutions, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
