The Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in February 2026, the city created jobs for 10,700 workers. In which, jobs were created for 2,700 workers from the city budget entrusted through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 234 billion VND. 209 workers were created jobs through labor export.
In February 2026, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 9 job transaction sessions. 246 units participated in recruitment with a total of 6,771 recruitment and enrollment targets. 2,554 workers were interviewed at job transaction sessions, through which 867 workers received applications and recruited through job transaction sessions.
In addition, the Hanoi Employment Service Center strengthens vocational training orientation and job conversion for unemployed workers; organizes counseling and job introduction activities on the job exchange system in the city... thereby supporting job creation for workers.
Regarding support and settlement of unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies, in February 2026, the Center received 2,402 applications for unemployment insurance benefits (a decrease of 2,090 cases compared to January 2026 and a decrease of 1,177 cases compared to the same period last year). Appraised and issued decisions to enjoy unemployment benefits for 3,112 cases (a decrease of 1,827 applications compared to January 2026 and a decrease of 346 applications compared to the same period in 2025) with a support amount of 132.6 billion VND.
In addition, the Center has provided counseling and job search support for over 52,000 workers, including vocational training support for 54 people with an amount of 21 million VND.
