    Ho Chi Minh City - The City Employment Service Center received nearly 2,600 applications for unemployment benefits in one week.

    On March 5, Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center - said that in the period from February 26 to March 4, this center received 2,596 applications for unemployment benefits.

    At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center also received 17,438 turns of people coming to announce the job search situation.

    The center's staff provided job counseling to 13,430 people, introduced jobs to 634 people, and 189 people received jobs.

    At the same time, counseling 10 workers who need to work abroad under contract and counseling and supporting vocational training for 135 workers who are receiving unemployment benefits who need vocational training.

    It is known that in the period from February 12 to February 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center only received 1,582 applications for unemployment benefits and received 29,060 turns of people coming to announce their job search status.
