On the evening of January 15, after work, the Trade Union of New Apparel Far Eastern Company (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Tan Phu town, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province) organized a Tet gift giving ceremony for union members and workers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said that the unit gave away 3,473 gifts, each gift included fish sauce, sugar, MSG, seasoning powder, cooking oil and chili sauce. The value of each gift was about 275,000 VND. The total value of the Tet gifts was 954 million VND.
Receiving the Tet gifts, the workers were very happy and excited. These are all daily cooking utensils, helping workers save some of their living expenses.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi said that in addition to giving gifts, the Trade Union also carried out many activities to care for union members during Tet. At the end of the year, the unit continued to support union members who were unfortunately sick or had accidents. Through the program of connecting love, the trade union supported many workers in especially difficult circumstances.
The Trade Union also organizes a Tet reunion program with many cultural and artistic activities to create a Tet atmosphere for workers.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi, the company has also announced the 2025 Tet welfare policies for employees to feel secure at work. The company will give Tet bonuses equal to the 13th month salary, the lowest bonus is 5.4 million VND, the highest bonus is nearly 43 million VND. The total amount of money to take care of workers during the Lunar New Year 2025 is 28.3 billion VND.
