According to the Nghi Son Town Labor Federation, in 2024, the impact of the global economic crisis, conflicts between countries in the world, natural disasters and floods, and high prices of input goods have greatly affected the production and business activities of enterprises. This also makes the lives and jobs of union members difficult. However, units, enterprises, and unions at all levels in the area have made great efforts to achieve positive results.
With the motto "No one is left behind" and "All union members and workers have Tet", Nghi Son town's trade union at all levels actively mobilized and called for support from the Party Committee, government, higher-level trade unions, organizations, businesses and benefactors to receive hundreds of gifts to give to union members in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025, Mr. Vo Manh Son - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - highly appreciated the efforts of the Nghi Son Town Labor Union at all levels, especially the work of supporting and caring for union members and workers in difficulty.
“As the Lunar New Year is approaching, I hope that the gifts from trade unions at all levels, units and businesses in the area given to workers will help union members to ease their hardships and have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet holiday,” Mr. Son shared.
At the program, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, Nghi Son Town, the Town Federation of Labor and enterprises presented more than 300 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 300 million VND. A "Union Shelter" house was presented to a union member, with an amount of 30 million VND.
