1,780 units are recognized as meeting cultural standards by agencies, units and enterprises
In addition to commendating typical agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards, the City Labor Federation also commends outstanding collectives and individuals in Cultural - Sports activities in 2024.
In recent times, the Hanoi City Labor Federation has actively promoted the campaign to build an industrial cultural lifestyle among workers and civil servants in the capital; build cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises; build cultural institutions, effectively implement Program 06-CTr/TU (term XVII)
Hanoi Trade Unions at all levels have promoted the Campaign to build an industrial cultural lifestyle among workers and civil servants in the capital in conjunction with promoting the work of building and developing grassroots cultural life, improving the quality of assessment, evaluation, recognition of the title of building a body, unit, and enterprise that meets cultural standards and implementing the Code of Conduct at the Workplace, Code of Conduct at Public Places.
Immediately after the City Party Committee issued Program No. 06-CTr/TU on March 17, 2021 on "Cultural development, improving the quality of human resources, building elegant and civilized Hanoians", the City Labor Federation has seriously implemented and included it in the Work Program and the activity plan; 02 Codes of Conduct have been included in the implementation target, as one of the standards for evaluating and evaluating cultivarily standard agencies, units and enterprises.
From 2023 to present, there are 3,816 units registered to recognize the title of Agency, unit, and enterprise meeting cultural standards, of which the period 2023 - 2027 is 3,059 units and the period 2024 - 2028 is 757 units. The results of the appraisal of the dossier to propose recognition of the title of Agency, unit, and enterprise meeting cultural standards for the period 2023-2024 are 45 Trade Unions at the grassroots level that have conducted an inspection, appraisal and proposal to recognize 2,784 dossiers, including 540 agencies, 1,865 units, and 379 enterprises. As a result, 1780 units have been recognized as "Cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises"; 44/45 Trade Unions at the grassroots level directly exceed the assigned rate.
Evaluating this activity, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Culture - Sports" in 2024.
Continue to focus on building and developing trade union cultural institutions
Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong highly appreciated the results achieved by Hanoi Trade Unions at all levels. In performing its tasks, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation always closely follows the political tasks of the City and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with many creative and flexible innovations in organization and operation, mainly focusing on the grassroots.
Implement well the Union communication activities. Actively mobilize union members, workers and civil servants in the capital to participate in activities launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the City, proactively innovate and create in the content and form of activities, create a wide spread, attract a large number of union members and workers to participate, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to improving the spiritual life of union members and workers.
Cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities, political, ideological, ethical, legal and lifestyle education work are widely organized, attracting and gathering more and more union members and workers to participate in and respond, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities in the work of building a comprehensive and strong development of the Vietnamese working class.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that in the context of extensive international integration and the implementation of new-generation free trade agreements, the 4th industrial revolution will pose many new difficulties and challenges to the workers' movement and trade union activities with heavy responsibility that requires us to be proactive, creative, take the lead in production labor, digital transformation and master science and technology.
The Capital Trade Union needs to continue to effectively implement Directive 52 of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in improving the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones". Coordinate with employers to build a healthy cultural environment in agencies, units and enterprises. Promote the organization of cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities at the grassroots level.
