Enterprises approve 5/5 proposals of workers
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Chairman of Dai Dung Company - said, to prepare for dialogue, the grassroots college has recorded the opinions of female workers. In particular, the ideas focused on 5 main groups: Supporting midfield costs for female workers with a level of 100,000 VND/person/month; In addition to 5 times of pregnancy pregnancy check -up, female laborers are entitled to 2 more times, each day, entitled to a full -time salary to go to the prenatal check -up; Pregnant female workers have a lunch break 10 minutes before the time of working; Female workers raising children under 12 months of age are entitled to 2 days off on Saturday each month; The company arranges room and equipment to store milk. Female workers raising children under 12 months of age can take an additional 60 minutes a day to squeeze milk, in addition to the time of rest according to the law.
After an open and responsible dialogue, the Board of Directors of the company has agreed on 5/5 contents. Regarding the content of support for cleaning fees, the enterprise approved the support level of 50,000 VND/person/month (compared to the proposed 100,000 VND).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, a female worker at Dai Dung Company, shared that the dialogue took place in a very open, sincere atmosphere and achieved good results. The proposals of the workers were all recognized and agreed to be implemented by the company's leaders from June 1, 2025.
Previously, before this dialogue, our employees opinions on major issues were all through the Union. But in this dialogue, the thoughts and aspirations of employees are expressed comfortably and in detail, directly for business leaders to listen and grasp. After the dialogue, the female workers of the company were all very excited. We hope to have more dialogues like this, Ms. Dung expressed.
Mr. Hung added that the company currently has 379 female workers. It is estimated that the company spends an additional 1.5 billion VND per year to implement the dialogue results.
During the process of implementing the dialogue, we have received enthusiastic support from trade unions at all levels through sending legal documents and instructions from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing the dialogue, meeting directly with trade unions to listen to preparations and give comments, instructions on how to implement, and notes to ensure the most effective dialogue, said Mr. Hung.

Ms. Tran Thu Phuong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that the 2019 Labor Code already has a separate chapter regulating female workers. However, in the process of checking the implementation of laws and policies at enterprises, it was shown that some enterprises have not fully implemented the provisions of the law on female workers, not to mention regulations higher than the law.
Through the implementation of the plan, most of the grassroots officials are very enthusiastic and brave, recognizing the thoughts and aspirations of the employees. The representative group of employees, but the college officials are the core when presented at the dialogue is very straightforward, strict arguments, reasonable, love, from which it is easy to convince the representative of the employer. On the business side, it is also very good to listen to opinions from employees and colleges. As a result, the policies as prescribed by the law are immediately implemented by businesses, and the proposals of employees are higher than the law, which are accepted by the employer and basically implement it.
Based on the summary of the very practical results from the above dialogues, we will report to the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to issue guidelines for implementation nationwide to increase benefits for union members and workers in general, female union members and workers in particular, said Ms. Phuong.
