The Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC), implementing the campaign "Doc chu - Discipline - Love - Responsibility", the Vietnam Education Trade Union has deployed and guided units to aim at the goal of each cadre, teacher, and employee (CBNGNLD) to uphold the spirit of discipline, responsibility, awareness of maintaining professional style, civilized behavior, setting a shining example for students, cultivating ethics, constantly improving professional skills, seriously performing professional tasks and fighting against school negativity.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has directed and guided trade unions at all levels to continue to improve the effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination, education of laws, and equipping legal knowledge so that employees are able to protect themselves; coordinate well with the profession in building and implementing annual tasks and implementing democracy at the grassroots level; perform well the function of inspection, supervision, and grasping the situation; review and detect shortcomings and difficulties in implementing policies and rights for employees; make timely recommendations and proposals to counter-level professionals to have appropriate solutions to resolve the issue, ensure wages, income, and working conditions for employees.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued a Plan to implement Program No. 05/CTr-BCH dated September 6, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Improving the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining in the period of 2023 - 2028". In 5 years (2020-2025), the trade unions of the units have conducted 708 inspections and supervision of the implementation of policies for employees, the number of people signed labor contracts is 4,675 people, and protected 3 cases of violations of legitimate rights and interests.
Direct the trade unions of the units to coordinate with the professional sector to seriously and effectively implement democracy at the grassroots level; promote the role of the trade union organization in implementing democracy at the grassroots level; promote propaganda and implementation of legal provisions on implementing democratic regulations in the operations of agencies, units and enterprises. Organize a training conference on the work of the People's Inspectorate (PPI) in 2025, share, exchange, and provide basic knowledge and skills on the organization and operation of the PPP; new regulations on the PPP stipulated in the Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation dated November 10, 2022; organize a seminar on "The role of trade unions in implementing grassroots democracy at agencies and units", with the participation of 86 delegates from unions of universities, colleges and affiliated units...
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Legal Consulting Group maintains the reception, support and answers, and consultation of contents related to employees such as: appointment work, conversion of teaching hours, emulation - reward... thereby, grasping the thoughts, aspirations and situations of employees in the industry.
The trade unions of the units coordinate with professional leaders to organize conferences for cadres, civil servants, and workers according to regulations. In the 5 years of organizing 449 dialogues between employees and heads of units, in the first 6 months of 2025 alone, 21 units have organized 31 dialogues. Through dialogue conferences, leaders of the units have listened to and promptly answered the thoughts and aspirations of employees, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations in agencies, units, schools, etc.
