The report at the conference to review the implementation of the coordination program between the Labor Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union for the period 2021 - 2025 just held said that from 2021 to 2025, the two units have coordinated to organize many activities to care for children of workers.
A typical example is organizing Thanh Da Summer Camp for 10,545 children with a total cost of more than 21.4 billion VND, of which the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation supported 100% of the costs for 555 children worth 1.08 billion VND; the annual "Tet for children" program has taken care of nearly 1,800 children of workers worth more than 3.3 billion VND.
Trade unions at all levels have mobilized to award more than 94,000 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 60 billion VND.
In addition, the two units have directed grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions to proactively coordinate in organizing programs and activities to care for children of young workers in conjunction with regular activities or International Children's Day on June 1, the occasion of Holidays, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Lunar New Year.
At the same time, coordinate the organization of training programs to improve social practice skills such as the "Pink Interview" summer camp, the "Child Emulation Funds" summer camp, and the "School from Nature" summer camp to contribute to taking care of more than 30,000 children of young workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
