On October 29, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said: Implementing Plan No. 34/KH-TLD dated October 15, 2025 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor deployed a Plan to organize activities to support means of transportation to bring union members and workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and return to work on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.
This activity aims to reduce the financial burden on union members and employees who are still in difficulty or have excellent achievements in labor and production; affirm the role, responsibility and comprehensive attention of the trade union organization to union members and employees; contribute to ensuring traffic safety during the Lunar New Year...
Accordingly, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize the "Union Flight - Spring 2026".
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor allocated 500 one-way air tickets and 500 gifts worth VND300,000/tael (cash) to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, and Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to support union members and workers to return home for Tet. Each union member and employee in this group is accompanied by 1 person (husband/wife, father, mother, child). Before the flight, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the provincial and municipal labor federations organized a meeting and wished a happy new year to union members and workers before boarding a flight back to their hometown at Tan Son Nhat airport, Ho Chi Minh City - Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha said.
Along with the "Union Flight - Spring 2026", the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also organizes the "Union Train - Spring 2026".
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor allocated 2,000 two-way train tickets and 2,000 gifts worth VND300,000/tael (cash) to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, and Vietnam Railway Trade Union to support members and employees to return home for Tet. Each union member and employee in this group must be accompanied by no more than 3 people (husband/wife, father, mother, child). Before the train departs, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the provincial and municipal labor federations, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union held a meeting and wished a happy New Year to union members and employees before boarding the train to return home at the departure station (Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa) ...
The funding to organize the "Union Flight - Spring 2026" and "Union Train - Spring 2026" is taken from the union financial resources at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; socialized sources; support from partners signing cooperation agreements with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
