Sir, how has AI had a specific impact on the labor market and employment in our country?
- Ms. Thanh Nguyen: AI is having a strong impact on the labor market and employment in Vietnam, both from the perspective of businesses and workers.

From the business side, according to the results of Anphabe's 2024 Business trend survey, there are currently 32% of businesses that have applied AI to business operations at an average to high level, but this figure is expected to increase sharply to 75% in the next 5 years, showing that the AI trend is gradually becoming the standard in business operations.
On the part of workers, according to the results of Anphabe's 2024 Go-to Trend Survey (N=1082, 2024), 56% have come into contact and applied AI to work, of which 77% use AI daily or weekly. For those who have not yet used AI, 80% are likely to start using AI in the next 5 years, reflecting the rapid popularity of this technology. When asked about the impact of AI, 75.6% of workers said AI helped them save time, 56.5% found work more fun and 55.2% felt AI helped them be more creative.
However, there are still concerns, with 48% of people working in AI afraid that AI can replace many work positions, 43% worried about output quality when using AI, 41% feeling increased work responsibility and 30% feeling more pressured by AI.
However, in the long term, the majority of workers have a positive view of AI: 59% believe that they will work in parallel with AI to achieve higher efficiency, 58% see AI as a support tool to increase productivity and focus on complex skills, and 57% believe that AI will improve human capacity, creating more job opportunities. This shows that AI is not only changing the way of working but also opening up many new opportunities in the future.
What is the advice for new candidates entering the labor market, including newly graduated bachelors and staff to streamline the payroll, ladies?
- Ms. Thanh Nguyen: In the context of a volatile labor market, newly admitted candidates, including newly graduated bachelors and staff members who have been downsized, need to maintain an optimistic spirit and believe in themselves, while continuously improving their skills to adapt and improve career opportunities.

- Ms. Thanh Nguyen: According to the results of the survey Best Workplaces in Vietnam 2024, 12 basic skills that workers should focus on developing include:
