On August 19, the Trade Union Board of Quang Tri Industrial Park attended the "Union Meal" program with 600 union members and workers at Jinquan Vietnam Tourism Tools Company Limited (Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park), on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
At the program, there are 600 meals worth 70,000 VND/meal, about 50,000 VND higher than the regular meals. Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 20,000 VND/scholarship and the company's grassroots union supported 30,000 VND/scholarship.
Union meals contribute to improving the quality of shift meals, ensuring nutrition and demonstrating practical concern for workers' lives.
On this occasion, 20 gifts (worth VND500,000/gift) were presented to workers in difficult circumstances, including 15 gifts from the Provincial Federation of Labor and 5 gifts from the grassroots Trade Union.
Notably, also within the framework of the program, 20 workers were admitted to the Trade Union, demonstrating the trust and attachment of workers to the organization representing their rights.
