On April 11, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Resolution 05 of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor on "Building and developing Ha Tinh College of Technology (CD) until 2025 and the following years".
The report at the conference stated that Ha Tinh Technology Trade Union, formerly the Employment Promotion Center under the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor, was established in 1995. After a period of upgrading with different names, since 2017, the school was renamed Ha Tinh College of Technology.
Ha Tinh Technology Trade Union is a public service unit under the direct management of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor.
The school has 2 training facilities, with an area of 22.3 hectares (1 facility in Ha Tinh city, 2 facility in Ky Anh town).
The school currently has 163 teachers and workers. To date, 100% of teachers have met professional qualifications according to regulations.
The school's training program is implemented according to regulations, reducing theory, increasing practice, improving vocational skills, training quality, and training of high-quality classes.
In training, the school based on the guidelines and orientations for socio -economic development, forecasting job needs to enroll training to meet the labor market needs; Provides students with skills, industries of businesses and labor markets, not just focusing on teaching the contents of the school.
In the period of 2020-2024, the school enrolled training 69,175 people/50,550 people, reaching 137% of the plan target. Compared to the target of Resolution 05, by the end of 2024, the college system reached 2,901/2,500; Intermediate system reaches 12,664/7,500; Primary system 17,808/15,000.
The school coordinated with businesses to take students for internships and introduce jobs after training with units such as: Vinfast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation; LG Display Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Lilama18 Joint Stock Company, Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company...
More than 80% of the school's students have jobs after training. For the Industrial Electricity profession, over 90% of Korean students have jobs after training.
The school's students are assessed by businesses to meet the requirements, the rate of students with jobs reaching and exceeding the target set by Resolution 05 is 85%. Some students with good foreign language skills have met the international labor market and have high incomes.
At the conference, many delegates presented solutions for Ha Tinh Technology Trade Union to develop further, train many highly skilled students to meet the requirements of businesses and the labor market.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dai - Vice Principal of Nghe Ha Tinh Trade Union - said that the current demand for labor recruitment of enterprises is very large.
Many businesses come to schools to recruit probation and interns with a salary of nearly 10 million VND/month. After graduation, he is recruited with a salary of 15 - 20 million VND/month. However, unfortunately, the scale of the school's training has not yet fully met the great demand of the market.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - Principal of Ha Tinh Technology Trade Union - affirmed that the school identifies improving the quality of vocational training as a key task, throughout the organization of activities. At the same time, it is interested in cooperating with businesses in organizing training, introducing and solving employment for students after graduation.
