According to the Hanoi National University Trade Union (VNU), for the 2023-2025 term, grassroots trade unions have directed trade unions at all levels to improve the effectiveness of women's work, for the advancement of women (VSTBPN) and gender equality; continue to launch and implement the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work" associated with emulation movements and other campaigns of the industry among female employees; direct the Women's Union of the units to proactively advise and coordinate with the VSTBPN Committee at the same level to effectively implement women's activities in accordance with the reality of the unit and the aspirations of female union members; actively perform the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female cadres, teachers and workers (CBNGNL).
The VNU-UghN Trade Union advised the Party Committee and coordinated with the authorities at the same level to pay attention to planning, training and appointing many female cadres and union members to participate in management work at all levels, thereby increasing the number and quality of female cadres participating in management at the units.
The trade unions of the units have organized many activities to support improving capacity to meet the requirements of innovation, especially female lecturers of universities when implementing university autonomy. Most units are interested in supporting and creating conditions for female employees to receive training and professional development. Some affiliated units coordinated with the General Hospital for Invalids and Social Affairs, the Association of Women Intellectuals to organize seminars and discussions on the role of female intellectuals and female scientists in innovation in education, training and community service; on the role of female officials in management; female lecturers in innovation in training and scientific research...
The VNU-UghN Trade Union closely coordinates with the Women's Union to effectively implement the emulation movement "Good at school work - good at home work" associated with the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families". Every year, the VNU-VGN Trade Union and the trade unions of the units organize a summary, commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding and outstanding achievements; over 95% of female employees achieve the title of "Good at school work - Good at home work". The VNU-UghN Trade Union has introduced female individuals with outstanding achievements and many contributions to women's work and gender equality to be considered for the Commemoration Medal "For the advancement of Vietnamese women"...
In the 2023-2025 term, women's work has always been innovated, in-depth, continuing to have a positive impact in caring for the development of the female employees, creating motivation for female employees to enthusiastically compete, strive to complete assigned tasks well, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of the unit and the VNU-Hero. Many outstanding female employees and individuals have been commended by all levels. Of which, the "Good at school work and good at home work" award at the VNU-level Trade Union in 2024 has 22 individuals; in 2025, there are 54 individuals.
