On June 28, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b/NQ-BCH on mobilizing female workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country and Directive No. 03/CT-TLĐ on continuing to promote the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home"; and at the same time commended typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers in An Giang province in the period 2021-2026.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day of the Trade Union organization in Bac Ton's homeland. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee; Mr. Pham Van Dang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; along with more than 100 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b and Directive No. 03, and 52 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers who were commended.

Speaking at the opening, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien emphasized that the past 15 years have marked the maturity and important contributions of the team of female workers, civil servants, and laborers in the province. From administrative agencies, schools, hospitals to businesses and factories, many female union members not only excellently complete their professional tasks but also play an important role in building happy families, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Presenting the summary report, Mr. Pham Van Dang said that currently the whole province has nearly 68,800 female union members, accounting for about 57% of the total number of trade union members. In the past 15 years, trade union levels have synchronously implemented many activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of female workers; promote gender equality propaganda; organize many activities to care for material and spiritual life, contributing to enhancing the position of women in the new era.

According to the report, from the reality of the movement, many creative models and typical examples have emerged in labor, scientific research, digital transformation, care for union member welfare and building an equal working environment. These are factors contributing to the widespread spread of the "Good at state affairs, good at housework" movement in the province.
A highlight of the conference was the presentation and exchange with 5 delegates from grassroots trade unions. The presentations focused on sharing experiences, good models, and creative ways of working in women's affairs, building strong trade union organizations and promoting the effectiveness of the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" at the grassroots level.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation commended 9 collectives and 45 individuals with outstanding achievements in 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b and Directive No. 03; and at the same time commended 52 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period 2021-2026. In particular, 2 families were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at the national level to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day.

Speaking at the closing of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien proposed that trade union levels continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, putting union members and workers at the center; pay attention to improving professional qualifications, professional skills, digital skills and the ability to apply artificial intelligence for union members and workers; and at the same time build an equal, safe, and friendly working environment for female workers.
He also proposed to continue to replicate models and advanced examples; take care of building happy, progressive, and sustainable worker families, contributing to building a modern worker contingent, meeting the development requirements of the province in the new period.
