On September 18, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Chairman of VIAGS Trade Union said that recently in Long Thanh Ward, Dong Nai City, VIAGS coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Thanh Ward to organize the handover and repair ceremony of the Great Solidarity House to the family of Ms. Dao Mong Thu (Binh Son 1 Quarter) and the family of Mr. Ho Thanh Tien (Long An Quarter).
In the warm atmosphere of the ceremony, representatives of VIAGS and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Thanh ward directly presented houses, gifts and visited and encouraged the two families of Ms. Dao Mong Thu and Mr. Ho Thanh Tien.
The VIAGS Youth Union also participated in the launching ceremony of mass tree planting work launched by the locality and received a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Thanh ward for volunteer activities and social security contributions to the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam said that not only stopping at giving houses of Great Solidarity, VIAGS youth also contribute more green spaces to Long Thanh homeland.
Continuing the journey, in Suoi Soong hamlet, Phu Vinh commune (Dong Nai City), VIAGS coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Vinh commune and local departments, branches, and mass organizations to organize the handover ceremony of the Great Solidarity house to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Nen, a policy household with difficult housing circumstances in Suoi Soong hamlet, Phu Vinh commune.
On this occasion, VIAGS and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Vinh commune presented a house of gratitude to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Nen. Of which VIAGS supported 100 million VND, and the rest was contributed by the family and supported by local authorities.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam shared that each Great Solidarity house given away is not only a project, but also the spirit of "mutual affection" of the VIAGS collective.
He hoped that Ms. Dinh Thi Nen's family would have more solid support to live in peace, and at the same time thanked the local government and units for accompanying and creating conditions for the meaningful program to be implemented.
