On the morning of June 1st, Mr. Tran Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee chaired a meeting with the delegation of Khanh Hoa province to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 and the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2026 - 2031.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Ho Xuan Truong - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Lam Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of relevant agencies and units.
At the meeting, Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 will take place from June 3 to 5 at the National Convention Center (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi city). The Congress with the participation of 780 official delegates representing millions of trade union members across the country.
The delegation of Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union attending the congress included 11 delegates, including 6 men and 5 women. The delegation consisted of 5 full-time trade union officials, 1 trade union official of non-business unit and 5 trade union officials at enterprises.
Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Provincial Party Committee member, official of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province as Head of the delegation.
The delegation of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union brought to the congress many thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers in the province, focusing on issues related to employment, income, policies and the lives of workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Phong emphasized that the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union are particularly important political events for the working class, laborers and Vietnamese farmers in the new development stage of the country.
The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his belief that the delegates of Khanh Hoa will promote the spirit of responsibility, bravery, intelligence and solidarity to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
At the same time, requesting delegates to strictly comply with the internal regulations, rules and work program of the congress; actively participate in discussions, reflect the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers and farmer members; contribute many heartfelt and quality opinions to the documents submitted to the congress.
According to Mr. Tran Phong, delegates need to strengthen exchanges and exchange experiences with localities across the country to learn good models and creative ways of doing things to apply in practice in Khanh Hoa.
This is also an opportunity to introduce the dynamic and developing local image; promote outstanding achievements in socio-economics, national defense and security, Party building and political system to friends across the country.
