The conference was held to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
The selection criteria are direct production workers; managers from the level of production team leader (or equivalent) or lower in enterprises of all economic sectors with a Trade Union organization with at least 10 years of work experience, and being admitted to the Party for at least 3 years (as of November 30, 2024).
The selection criteria include: Political, ideological, ethical, lifestyle, working style, sense of organization and discipline; Results of performing assigned duties and tasks. In particular, the candidate and his/her family must strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, the Party's Charter, the Vietnam Trade Union Charter; participate in Party cell activities and pay Party dues in full and in accordance with regulations. Strictly implement the Regulations on responsibilities of Party members who are working regularly and maintain contact with the Party organization and the people where they reside.
Have specific, practical and effective actions and deeds in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; in training, cultivating morality, practicing thrift, preventing corruption and waste. Be a party member with a good performance rating or higher, in the period 2018-2023, of which at least 1 year is excellent. Priority is given to party members who have been awarded a Certificate of Merit for Party work...
Units with 200,000 or more union members each nominate 3 people, including at least 2 union members from non-state enterprises. Units with 100,000 to less than 200 union members; Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, Vietnam Coal and Mineral Trade Union, Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, Vietnam Rubber Trade Union each nominate 2 people (in case 2 union members have similar achievements, priority should be given to working in non-state enterprises, female union members). The remaining units each nominate 1 person.
Based on the quality of the nomination documents of the Labor Federations, provinces, cities, Central Industry Trade Unions, and Trade Unions of Corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized the selection and commendation of 95 most outstanding delegates.
The Commendation Program is scheduled to take place on February 15-16, 2025.
