On May 29, the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union of Khatoco Packaging Printing Joint Stock Company to organize a program to respond to Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 and towards the 33rd anniversary of the company's establishment (May 31, 1993 - May 31, 2026).
The activity attracted nearly 500 officials, employees, and laborers to participate. This is an opportunity for businesses and trade union organizations to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and laborers after working hours.
At the program, leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation presented 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to support union members and workers who suffered from labor accidents, occupational diseases and are in difficult circumstances.
Khatoco Packaging Printing Joint Stock Company also presented 20 more gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to workers in difficult circumstances.
According to Mr. Pham Nguyen Nhat Anh - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Khatoco Packaging Printing Joint Stock Company, in the past time, the grassroots trade union has always coordinated with the business leadership to pay attention to improving working conditions, increasing income and welfare regimes for union members and workers.
The highlight of the program is "Trade Union Meal" for 470 union members and employees throughout the company. Compared to the daily shift meal, the meal is supplemented with two savory dishes, enhancing nutritional value with a total value of 61,000 VND/meal.
The entire budget in addition to the trade union's support is supported by businesses to bring workers a fuller and better quality meal.
After the morning shift, Mr. Tran Ngoc Ha - warehouse staff of the company - expressed his joy when enjoying a special meal with colleagues.
Today's meal was full, with many dishes, so the workers ate more deliciously and comfortably after working hours. I hope the trade union will organize more meaningful activities like this," Mr. Ha shared.
According to a representative of the organizing committee, the program not only improves the quality of meals but also contributes to caring for the spiritual life of workers, creating bonds and sharing between trade union members and businesses and trade union organizations.
This is also a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2026, showing the companionship of businesses in taking care of workers' lives.
At the program, Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - informed about outstanding activities to care for union members and workers at all levels of the Trade Union in Workers' Month 2026.
Regarding taking care of union members, the Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated to present more than 1,600 gifts to support difficult cases and labor accidents... In which, Party and State leaders directly presented gifts to particularly difficult cases with each gift worth more than 2 million VND.
In particular, the Trade Union Meal activity this year was widely responded to by grassroots trade unions. The value of the meal was increased compared to previous years.
