Carefully prepare for the Union Meal
From early morning, the kitchen area of VJT Toms Textile Co., Ltd. (Dien Sanh commune, Quang Tri province) became busier than usual, the kitchen staff was busy on the menu, preparing ingredients, and preparing more delicious dishes to serve all union members and workers.

The company's kitchen manager said that today, with financial support from the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor and the grassroots union, the value of shift meals increased from VND 15,000 to VND 55,000. Today's shift meal will have more delicious dishes and more nutrients. The ingredients for cooking today's meals are ordered by the kitchen early in the morning, ensuring freshness and cleanliness.
At nearly noon, the shift meals were divided into stainless steel trays with many compartments by the kitchen staff, with lids and neatly arranged and divided on the dining tables. Each meal includes the following dishes: White rice, stir-fried beef, boiled shrimp, boiled duck and sour soup and 1 box of yogurt.

In addition, the kitchen has also prepared 100 more vegetarian meals for union members and workers who have registered in advance.
A shared, connected meal
After noon, the bell rings to signal the time of eating, groups of workers enter the company's cafeteria, sit at the table one by one to enjoy the Union Meal.
Recruited to work in the folding and packaging department for a few months now, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha said that since starting work, this was the first time a shift meal with many delicious and nutritious dishes like this. Every day, the shift meal at the company has 3 dishes and no milk like today.

Today, on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Trade Union organization has supported funding to make our meals more delicious and ensure more nutrients. In particular, also at today's special meal, I was awarded a decision by the union to admit union members, and officially became a member of the Vietnam Trade Union," Ms. Ha shared.
Mr. Le Nhat Tien - Chairman of the Trade Union of VJT Toms Textile and Garment Company Limited said that at the Trade Union Meal program, the grassroots trade union integrated the awarding of decisions on admitting union members and giving birthday gifts to union members and workers in July. In addition, the company also gave thermal containers to all employees.
In addition, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, grassroots unions, local leaders and businesses attended, talked, encouraged, shared and grasped the thoughts and feelings of union members and workers.
