The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) issued a document launching and guiding the organization of the "Union Meal" in 2025. Accordingly, depending on actual conditions, trade union organizations proactively promote trade union financial resources and socialized resources, coordinate with heads of agencies, units and enterprises to organize "Union Meals" in 2025 for union members, workers and laborers (CN-NLD).

The peak focus is on the week celebrating the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28 and National Day on September 2.
According to the guidance of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, all grassroots trade unions (CDCS) in units and enterprises (or member trade unions, Trade Union groups, and departmental trade unions where there are many union members) in places where mid-shift meals or daily lunch are organized at the workplace for union members and employees.
Or specialized agencies of trade union organizations at all levels (which are maintaining trade union organizations because the unit does not receive 100% of the state budget salary), trade unions at units and enterprises in places where mid-shift meals or daily lunch are not organized at the workplace for union members, employees... if the unit and enterprise leaders agree to coordinate and agree on the location, they will organize "Union Meal".
This guide also clearly states that the value of a "Union Meal" meal must be higher than the value of a daily meal. Specifically, by the value of daily meals combined with the added value from the Trade Union's financial resources and the added value from other socialized sources (if any).
In which, the value of daily meals is the value of meals according to the regulation or provided daily by the unit or employer at the workplace. The added value from the Trade Union's financial resources is a maximum of VND50,000/tael.
