At noon on July 25, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Central Garment Development Joint Stock Company's grassroots union to organize a union meal to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
At the meal, 320 workers of the company (located in Vinh Linh commune, Quang Tri province) together with business leaders, union officials and leaders of the Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board had an intimate meal right at the collective dining table.
Unlike the daily meal costing 20,000 VND, this Union Meal is raised to 50,000 VND/meal, of which the Provincial Federation of Labor supports 20,000 VND, and the grassroots union supports 10,000 VND.
Thanks to this attention, meals become more complete and quality with dishes such as chicken thighs, shrimp, sausage, rolls of eggs, stir-fried vegetables, soup and yogurt dessert. The warm and joyful atmosphere of the meal creates cohesion between employees and the company's board of directors.
On this occasion, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor also presented 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to union members in difficult circumstances. The company's grassroots union has admitted 25 more workers to the union.
