The Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) said that it will organize a Trade Union Meal on August 19 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Union meal is for all 35,000 workers, each meal is worth 50,000 VND, including dishes such as: fried chicken breast, pork ribs, vegetables, egg soup, cakes and bird's nest water.
The grassroots union also organizes activities such as: Giving gifts to all union members and workers each with a bottle of cooking oil of 2 liters and 4 cups of milk; Giving support to 10 union members in difficult circumstances, worth 10 million VND/gift; Giving support to 40 union members with relatives with serious illnesses, each worth 3 million VND; Giving 100 scholarships to union members' children to overcome difficulties to rise up, each worth 1 million VND; Lottery with 1,000 prizes is a voucher of 200,000 VND/tournament.
In particular, the Road of Love and Connecting the Heart of Union Members Fund will support 4 union members with serious illnesses, worth 70 million VND/case.
Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc - Chairman of the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company - also said that the Trade Union Meal and the above activities are a deep gratitude of the Trade Union and the Board of Directors of the company for 35,000 union members of TKG TaeKwang Vina.
According to the Provincial Federation of Labor in Region 1 (formerly Dong Nai), 45 enterprises have reported on organizing Union Meals for union members and workers. 45 enterprises in the Industrial Parks including: Amata, Tam Phuoc, Bien Hoa 1, Bien Hoa 2, Loteco & Agtex, Tan Hiep cluster organizes a Union Meal from July 25 to August 29, with a meal value of VND 41,000/meal to VND 95,000/meal.
