According to Mr. Do Ngoc Thap - Deputy Director - Chairman of the company's Trade Union, the union meal was held at noon on July 28 with the participation of more than 520 union members and employees of the company. Representatives of the leaders of the City Labor Federation and the Hong Bang Ward Labor Union also attended the celebration with the workers.
Meals are worth 150,000 VND/meal, many times higher than the usual daily shift meal of 33,000 VND/meal. This activity is an opportunity for the leaders of the unit and the Trade Union to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the workers. Thereby, strengthening the connection between the Trade Union organization, enterprises and workers, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
It is known that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation plans to organize and deploy a simultaneous "Union Meal" at grassroots trade unions in July. Up to now, many units have implemented and received positive responses from union members and workers.
