Practical celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on April 10, the Standing Committee of the Labor Federation of Thoi Lai district held a ceremony to attach a signboard for the emulation project "Fatherland Road" in Dong Hien hamlet - Dong Thanh hamlet, Dong Thuan commune.
The project is 4,400 m long, including 175 pillars and 175 national flags, with a total cost of over 124 million VND. Of which, 76.9 million VND and working days of union members of Dong Thuan commune and people of the two hamlets were mobilized.
Not only creating a bright and beautiful beauty for the road, the completed project also contributes to promoting and educating the tradition of patriotism among the people, especially the younger generation.
On this occasion, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation and the People's Committee of Dong Thuan Commune commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the construction process. Along with that, 15 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) including notebooks, rice, and helmets were presented to students who are children of union members who have overcome difficulties to study well in the commune.
In 2025, the District Labor Federation launched an emulation movement among cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers at affiliated grassroots unions in the district. Since the beginning of the year, the District Labor Federation has had 3 emulation projects with signs.
