This is a project to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 94th anniversary of the Party's traditional day of mass mobilization work and Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The project is located on the Nam Kinh bank, Thoi Huu hamlet, Dong Hiep commune, Co Do district, Can Tho city, 2.5 km long, 4 m wide, 115 lamp posts with a total cost of 15.3 billion VND. Of which, the State invested 9.8 billion VND, Dong Hiep commune trade union mobilized cadres, union members, and local people to contribute money and labor days worth 5.5 billion VND.
After completion, the project has brought a new look, facilitating the movement of students and the exchange of goods and trade of people. From there, it has contributed to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai shared the joy with the residents and affirmed the importance of the project to the local socio-economic development. Thereby, she hoped that the residents, union members, workers and the commune's Trade Union would continue to have a plan to preserve the road so that it can be used for a long time.
On the same day, the Co Do District Labor Federation also held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Trade Union Shelter for union member Pham Thi Tuyet Lan (Thoi Hung 2 Primary School Union). The ceremony approved the decision to start construction of the Trade Union Shelter and presented a symbolic support certificate of 50 million VND to union member Tuyet Lan.
