In fact, after the COVID-19 pandemic, many returning workers have returned to their hometowns to work, so the supply in big cities has decreased, but the Center is still trying to maintain supply for businesses, Ms. Linh assessed.
According to Ms. Linh, staff of Song Hong Company are very satisfied with the enthusiastic support of staff at the Hanoi Employment Service Center. "We can go to the recruitment center directly or online, even just book a Center staff member to support enthusiastic recruitment. Up to now, the business has not charged any costs for this recruitment, said Ms. Linh.
Ms. Doan Van Anh (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) is a worker who found a job at Song Hong Tourism and Trading Company Limited by participating in a job fair at the Center.
Ms. Van Anh went to the Hanoi Employment Service Center to complete procedures to receive unemployment insurance in October 2024. Here, she was also instructed by the Center's staff to apply for unemployment insurance, and was introduced to job opportunities suitable for her expertise and abilities.
Thanks to the Center's staff's introduction, Ms. Van Anh used to work as a human resources employee at a domestic service supply company. After that, finding it unsuitable, she continued to discuss with the Center staff to find new job opportunities.
I found a job through the website of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, through banner when coming directly and through the instructions and introductions of the Center staff. Thanks to that, after receiving unemployment insurance, I was introduced to work at 2 companies. I started working at Song Hong Company at the end of March 2025, as a sales staff. I used to work in human resources, this time I want to try my hand at the position of sales staff - a completely new field compared to my experience, said Ms. Van Anh.
Strengthening trading sessions - improving job connection efficiency
According to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, out of 17,044 workers who were given jobs in May 2025, 1,733 were from the city's budget entrusted through the Social Policy Bank; 2,569 were interviewed at job fairs and exchanges organized by the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
Also in May 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center will increase the organization of job fairs and labor market information to connect supply and demand, and support jobs for workers. Accordingly, in May 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 22 job fairs with 510 units, enterprises and 3,758 employees participating. As a result, 2,583 workers were interviewed at the session, 394 workers were recruited at the session.
In addition, 34,018 employees and 1,414 businesses have access to and been consulted according to the existing services of the Hanoi Employment Service Center; 3,795 employees registered to find jobs through the Center.
