In the first 6 months of 2025, Hanoi City created jobs for more than 125,000 workers, reaching 74% of the annual plan.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Hanoi Employment Service Center will organize 128 job fairs (110 daily fairs, 3 thematic fairs, 8 online fairs connecting with provinces and cities, 7 mobile fairs in districts, towns and cities) with 4,084 units and enterprises participating and nearly 40,000 workers participating in interviews.

As a result, 15,800 people were recruited after the end of the trading session; 2,100 people were settled to work abroad for a limited period of time under contracts in the Japanese market, Taiwan (China) and South Korea; 72,000 people were created jobs through job consultation and introduction of businesses operating in the field of employment services in the city.

Also in the first 6 months of this year, the City issued a decision to receive unemployment insurance (UI) benefits for 31,000 people; 20,600 workers received unemployment insurance benefits, 100% of cases applying for UBTS were advised to find new jobs, of which 502 people were supported with vocational training with an amount of 1.9 billion VND.
