Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded "Trade Union Shelter" support worth 40 million VND to union member Nguyen Thuy Kieu - a member of the grassroots Trade Union of the Thuc Phan Ward Market Management Board.
Ms. Kieu's family is in particularly difficult circumstances. She has been working for 28 years, while her husband is old, unable to work and has cancer, and had to undergo liver resection surgery in early 2025.
My child is in her final year of university, making living expenses and treatment costs increasingly weigh on the family's economy.
Difficulties piled up when the family's level IV house was heavily damaged due to the impact of storms No. 10 and No. 11. Many essential assets such as computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, electric motors, induction cookers and many household items were almost completely damaged.
The total estimated damage is about 490 million VND. The family is currently living in rented accommodation because the house is no longer habitable.
At the support handover ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation visited and encouraged the family to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working and working.
On the same day, Emulation Group No. 3 under the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union of Motor Vehicle Registration Center 11S-01 to organize the awarding of savings books worth 30 million VND to union member Ngo Viet Tien.

Mr. Ngo Viet Tien is an active union member in work and trade union activities.
However, in the past time, the union member's family faced many difficulties when both father and mother suffered from dangerous diseases, having to undergo long-term treatment at high costs.
The support fund was mobilized from the joint efforts of the Department of Construction and Phong Thai Rubber Company, each unit supporting 15 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the spirit of responsibility of the units in caring for union members and workers.
At the same time, he affirmed that trade union levels will continue to promote social security activities and support union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
