On June 1, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CFF) said that the Nguyen Binh District Federation of Labor has just held a Congress to establish grassroots unions at Tien Luc Private Enterprise and Son Dong Cooperative.
Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Chu Thi Phuong - President of the District Federation of Labor, along with representatives of business leaders and all employees of the two units.
At the Congress, the Nguyen Binh District Labor Federation announced the Decision to establish and admit union members: 13 union members with the Son Dong Cooperative Trade Union and 20 union members with the Tien Luc Private Enterprise Trade Union. At the Congresses, Ms. Chu Thi Phuong presented decisions, presented congratulatory flowers and encouraged the new union members.
The delegates unanimously elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union for the first term, including outstanding union members with capacity and enthusiasm for trade union activities.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice President of the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor Hoang Thi Lam praised the proactive spirit of workers and the support of enterprises in establishing trade unions.
The event is considered an important milestone, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights of workers, building harmonious labor relations and promoting the emulation movement in production.
On this occasion, the District Labor Federation presented 15 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to union members in difficult circumstances at the two units.
