On June 11, the Trade Union of Dam Phu My Packaging Joint Stock Company (Dam Phu My Packaging Trade Union) organized a "Union Meal" for nearly 500 workers and laborers, from the support fund of the Trade Union of the Petrochemical and Fertilizer Corporation (PVFCCo - Phu My).
With each meal worth 100,000 VND, 3 times higher than the regular meal (30,000 VND), the "Union Meal" ensures nutrition and brings warmth and sharing to each worker during the meal. Thereby spreading the spirit of solidarity, sharing, adding motivation for union members and workers to work with peace of mind and stay with the enterprise for a long time.
Mr. Tong Xuan Phong - Chairman of PVFCCo - Phu My Trade Union - said that this is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month, Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025, demonstrating the concern and care of the trade union organization for the lives of workers. Dam Phu My Packaging Joint Stock Company is one of the units that still faces many difficulties, so the General Corporation's Trade Union always pays special attention and tries to support union members and workers here to be cared for both materially and spiritually.
"Depending on the conditions of each unit, the Corporation's Trade Union will implement appropriate and practical care activities to meet the needs and encourage the spirit of union members and workers," Mr. Tong Xuan Phong shared.
In addition to organizing "Union Meals", in recent times, PVFCCo - Phu My Trade Union has regularly implemented many support policies such as: visiting and supporting workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses; organizing cultural and sports activities to improve the spiritual life of workers; promoting the emulation movement for good workers and creative workers in units.
