The Standing Committee of the school's grassroots trade union has sent representatives to participate fully in salary councils and emulation councils, proactively participate and coordinate the implementation of policies and laws related to employees such as labor contracts, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, wages, bonuses, and internal spending regulations.
Thereby, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life, increasing income for employees at the units, in order to detect violations, promptly resolve problems, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The union also contributes to ensuring solidarity within the union organization, close connection and coordination between the union with the board of directors and other political organizations in the school to organize activities, always striving for the common interests and common development of the school.
The Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has implemented many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members. Accordingly, 299 union members with many positive contributions to trade union activities have been recognized and supported with a total budget of 299 million VND from the support of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; support for Tet care for 101 employees with a total budget of 313 million VND.
In addition, the school's union also promptly provided emergency support to 6 union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses with a total amount of 30 million VND.
