Mr. Le An Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade (VTC) - said that the industry trade union currently has 141,004 union members/148,609 workers (reaching a rate of 94.88% of union members/total number of workers).

According to Mr. Le An Hai, since the beginning of 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has closely followed the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to direct and guide all levels of Trade Unions to implement activities in a timely manner, in accordance with the practical situation to complete production and business plans and political tasks; fully and promptly implement social security policies; care for the lives of union members and workers; supervise and participate in supervising the implementation of labor laws, social insurance regimes and policies, health insurance, unemployment insurance, wages, bonuses, etc. related to union members and workers. Thanks to that, the production and business efficiency and the lives of union members and employees in the industry continue to develop and improve.
According to the records of trade unions at all levels, the employment of union members and employees in the industry is basically maintained, income is stable, working conditions and policies are guaranteed. The average income of workers in the enterprise sector is estimated at 7,000,000 VND - 10,500,000 VND/person/month. In particular, as of June 30, the whole industry has not had any labor disputes leading to collective work stoppages.
With a proactive, creative spirit, overcoming difficulties, believing in innovation, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the Industry and Trade Union actively competes in labor and production to successfully complete all assigned tasks. At the same time, union members and employees hope that the Party, State, and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will have many policies to solve employment, increase income, and improve the lives of union members and employees; focus on implementing the construction of union institutions, especially housing, welfare service works such as kindergartens, multi-purpose cultural houses, etc. so that union members and employees can feel secure in studying, working and producing, and contributing more and more to the development of the industry and the country" - Mr. Le An Hai said.
