Nghe An - The Irrigation Department has 12 civil servants, public employees and workers registered to retire early.

On February 20, information from the leader of Nghe An Irrigation Department said that after Decree 178 was issued, 12 civil servants, public employees and workers have registered to retire early.

Nghe An Irrigation Department under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An has a organizational structure including: 1 Head of Department, 2 Deputy Head of Department, 4 Heads of Department, 6 Heads and 1 Head of Ben Thuy Irrigation Station and Cua Lo Storm Warning Station with 87 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Including 23 civil servants, 62 public employees and 2 labor contracts.

According to the plan to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the provincial government approved by the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will merge the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with the name after the merger being the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Previously, in 2024, implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently", the apparatus organization of Nghe An Irrigation Department has reduced 1 room and 1 station after merging Ben Thuy Hydrological Station and Cua Lo Storm Warning Station into Ben Thuy Hydrological Station and Cua Lo Storm Warning Station, merging the Inspection, Legal Department and the dyke Management Department into the dyke Management Department.
