Based on Official Dispatch 8726/VPCP-KGVX in 2024, the Prime Minister has agreed on Lunar New Year, National Day and some other holidays and Tet in 2025 sent to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Pursuant to the provisions of Notice 6150/TB-BLDTBXH in 2024 stipulating the implementation of the Prime Minister's direction in Official Dispatch 8726/VPCP-KGVX in 2024 of the Government Office on Lunar New Year and some holidays in 2025, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs announces to administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, enterprises and other employers to implement the Lunar New Year holiday schedule, National Day holiday, Victory Day holiday on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1, 2025 as follows:

2. Civil servants and public employees will have a holiday for the 2025 National Day from Saturday, August 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025. This holiday includes 2 National Day holidays and 2 weekly days off.

4. Agencies and units implementing the Lunar New Year holiday schedule, National Day holiday, Victory Day holiday on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1, 2025 should pay attention to: arrange and organize on-duty departments according to regulations and work reasonably to solve continuous work, ensure good service to the organization and people, in which it is important to send on-duty staff and civil servants to handle unexpected and unexpected work that may occur during the Tet holiday and holidays according to regulations.

7. For employees not specified in Clause 1 of this Notice, employers decide to choose Lunar New Year holiday, National Day holiday, Victory Day holiday April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 as follows:
- For the Lunar New Year holiday: choose 1 day at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 4 days of the year of At Ty or 2 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 3 days of the year of At Ty or 3 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 2 days of the year of At Ty.
- For the National Day holiday: Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and choose 1 of 2 days: Monday, September 1, 2025 or Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
- Notify employees of the Lunar New Year and National Day holidays in 2025 at least 30 days before implementation.
- If the weekly day off coincides with the holiday or Tet holiday prescribed in Clause 1, Article 112 of the Labor Code, employees are entitled to compensatory weekly day off on the next working day as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.
- Encourage employers to apply Lunar New Year holidays, National Day holidays, Victory Day holidays April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 for employees as prescribed for civil servants and public employees.

Thus, cadres, civil servants and public employees will have a holiday for the 2025 National Day holiday from Saturday, August 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025. This holiday includes 2 National Day holidays and 2 weekly days off.
